STOP buying FAKE tonnage licences. Find out what a 'white list' licence has to be.

Fake licences erode and corrode our industry. Don't support it. Foreign licences don't help either. We need 'homegrown' knowledge, skills and attitude 'inside' our seafarers, not their names ON an expensive piece of paper and they don't know if they can renew. This is how it's done in a 'white list' country. Seafarers must support a similar system here.

  1. Foreign licences don't help because they take money away from the development of nautical education in our area. As island nations, the Caribbean should have had this years ago, but don't worry SSNT is here now, the game is finally changing. So we ask you to: (1) NOT send your money to Rhode Island, Panama or Honduras or give it to their shady intermediaries. (2) Request your Maritime Authority to amend the Shipping Act to include the provision of OOW and Master less than 500GT licences. (3) Request Bahamas accept Caribbean NVQs for the tonnage licences. (4) Request Dominica accept Caribbean NVQs for the tonnage licences, (5) Tell British and US Virgin Islands they have to move if they don't accept Caribbean NVQs.
