this small unit, learners get an introduction to types of marine terminals and storage
tank farms. Learners are introduced to jetty pipelines and jetty control rooms.
Learners are introduced to the basics of: mooring dolphins and fenders, quick
release mooring hooks and Jetty piles Learners are introduced to terminal
berthing aids like: current meters, speed of approach indicators and escort
tugs. Learners are introduced to important jetty connections like the
international ship shore fire connection and the emergency shutdown system. Leaners
are introduced to navigation channels and buoyage.
